I just completed my newest book, "Lexi's Discovery", and have added it's excerpt to the list. Please note that all my excerpts are raw as I post them when I write them rather than after I have edited and perfected them. I also love any and all input to feel free to drop me a line and give me your thoughts on my work.
I want to take this opportunity to thank people who have been beyond supportive and wonderful to me as I work on my dream.
My husband J.W. gets the most credit for pushing me to write and for always believing in me and letting me be me.
I know sometimes I drive him nuts but his love and encouragement has never wavered and without him I am nothing.
My Grandma Valerie, Aunt Anne, and Carrie have been wonderful.
They read the first version of Kat's Escape and gave invaluable critiques and editing that helped me completely change the direction of the book to something that was much more suited to me.
Gracie, and Maggy go above and beyond in their support of me. They cheer me on and cheer me up whenever I need it and I adore them for it.
Siobhan Goldin, a fellow writer, read my work and enjoyed it so much that she pushed me constantly to submitt my work and to really find my own voice. She passed away September 2009 and will be missed beyond belief. She was and is a huge inspiration to me.
There are others who have read my work and been incredibly supportive, to many to name each individually, but trust me when I say that every person who views the pieces of my soul that I put into my writing and gives me good honest feedback has helped to shape my writing. Thank you everyone.
